Algodystrophy: can we treat ourselves naturally?

Algodystrophy is a trauma that most often appears after surgery or a period of intense stress.
It is characterized by pain that is felt in the joints.
Algodystrophy can affect anyone: adolescents, men and women.

Also known as the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, algodystrophy becomes worse when left untreated.
Besides the anti-inflammatory drugs which are most often used to treat it, there are other natural methods.

Clean up your lifestyle
A good hygiene of life will guarantee a good state of health.
We must opt for a healthy and balanced diet.
It should not consist largely of acidifying foods.
It must be pleasant, both for your digestive system and for your bones.
It will be necessary to ban alcohol, coffee and all toxic products for the body.
It is necessary to reduce as much as possible fatty, salty and sweet foods, mainly refined sugar and all that is industrial.
Fruits and vegetables should also be consumed in large quantities.
They should be incorporated into every meal of the day.
Protein should not be neglected, but it should not be overused either.
You should also drink enough water at the rate of 2 liters per day.
Water is very good for the body, so there is no risk if you abuse it.
Healthy living is also affected by stress.
It is therefore a good idea to manage your stress well so that it does not affect you.
Certain activities are recommended to help manage stress.
For example, yoga, meditation, relaxation therapy or any daily physical and sports activity.
You also need to allow your body to recover through restful sleep.
At least 7-9 hours of sleep is recommended for your body to recover.
The Scottish shower

To cure algodystrophy, it is used as a poultice.
To make your green clay poultice, you must pour the clay into a jar.
Whether it is powder, pieces or granules, you will then add water to it.
The mixture should be left to stand for at least 30 minutes.
It should not be too compact or too liquid.
Then you choose a base: it can be a strip, a paper towel, etc.).
You put your mixture on the base that you lay out.
The thickness of your poultice should be at least 3 cm.
Finally, it should be placed on the painful part, but so that it is directly on the skin.
Remember to keep it on the area with a tissue or bandage.
The clay poultice is very effective in reducing inflammation.
Each poultice made can stay at least 2 hours, or even overnight.
You can also use green clay to make baths.
To be successful with your clay-based treatment, you should choose a good quality powder.

Essential oils
With soothing properties, essential oils are widely used for all problems related to joints and bones.
They calm many traumas including algodystrophy.
It is :
Lemon eucalyptus essential oil
It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
It alleviates pain of all kinds related to the joints.
Peppermint essential oil
Used for all kinds of ailments, this oil cures rheumatism, neuritis and algodystrophy.
It has analgesic and anesthetic properties.
It is very effective in eliminating all types of pain.
The essential oil of noble laurel
The virtues of noble laurel oil are well established.
It is a very powerful analgesic that works not only on dental pain, but also on all forms of joint pain.
It effectively relieves pain caused by cramps and muscle pain.
Before topical application, oils should always be diluted with vegetable oil.
The mixture to be made should consist of 90% vegetable oil for 10% essential oil.
As vegetable oil, there is arnica, sweet almond or jojoba oil.
For an amount of 200 ml, you will need 600 drops or 20 ml of essential oil and 90 ml of vegetable oil.
As an example, here is a mixture that can help you cure your algodystrophy.
You need 60 drops of EO of lemon eucalyptus, 60 drops of EO of peppermint and 60 drops of EO of noble laurel.
To this you will need to add 60 ml of sweet almond or arnica oil.
Apply this mixture on the painful part and massage for a long time for several minutes.
Do this daily 3 times a day.
These essential oils are used only for local application.
They are not for internal use.
